Motorola Moto X Launch
We launched the world's first designable phone, which also happened to be Google's first foray into hardware. The campaign featured a Times Square launch, digital takeovers of top-tier web properties, a pre-roll spot that broke Youtube's click-thru and view-to-completion records, and a Cannes-recognized first-ever interactive print ad with a select run in Wired.

Campaign Anthem
YouTube Pre-Roll
We created a Youtube Pre-roll that broke their all-time view-to-completion metrics (they were pumped, we were pumped, client was just myeh… jk client loved it). I’d like to think it was our vice-like grip on the viewer’s focus with quick cuts and using the image of the phone itself as a stand-in in the copy -
World’s First Interactive Print Ad
It’s hard to really convey color change without being able to, well, show colors change… so at first print didn’t seem like the right medium, but our team was not to be discouraged, and as part of the launch we concepted and built the world’s first interactive print ad (press the color swatches and the phone changes with it) that ran in a limited pressing of Wired in the NYC market -
Monday! Night! Football!
Got the opportunity to concept and create an :08 clip to air on a Dallas Cowboys Monday Night Football game.
The campaign was “Your Phone. Your Style.” so “Your Team. Your Style.” was a natural progression.
This next spot was rolling as Joe Buck spoke those immortal words,
“Tonight’s game is brought to you by Motorola and the new customizable Moto X. No matter what team you love, there’s a phone for that.”
One of the Top 10 Moments of my career - got a Pug on ESPN.com
(Also, turns out ‘Bama doesn’t own the rights to houndstooth… GO IRISH)
Campaign was awarded at One Show, One Show Interactive, Webby's, and shortlisted at Cannes.
